Meanwhile, over in the Times, Royston has had ENOUGH DAMMIT
This comment is more autistic than I am.
It must be nice to have so few problems that the way in which music on Radio 3 is announced becomes ‘intensely’ annoying
trufax: I used to kick my instrument a lot. It was a big beastly marimba though, so it took its lumps like a champ. I’ve also kicked my share of bass amps, too. And thrown a lot of mallets. Sometimes at people.
Song Lyrics
I wasn’t tagged but this seemed fun.
Rules: write the first ten songs that come up on shuffle (no skipping) and write your favorite lyrics from each song, then tag ten people.
1. Nightwish – The Heart Asks Pleasure First
A dead calm winter morn,
Morning birds, and a smile of a stranger
2. Tracy Chapman – Fast Car
And I had a feeling that I belonged
I had a feeling I could be someone, be someone, be someone
3. She Wants Revenge – Someone Must Get Hurt
The decision is in there will be no fight
It might sound cold but I know it’s right
‘Cause someone must get hurt and it won’t be me
4. Silverchair – Across The Night
I don’t wanna be lonely I just wanna be alone
5. Poets of the Fall – All The Way/ 4U
And you haven’t had a chance yet to taste this
Fragments of a life you shouldn’t miss
6. Tove Lo – Not On Drugs
I’m queen of the clouds, make my wish come true
I sing to the night, let me sing to you
7. System of a Down – This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I’m On This Song
Killers never hurt feelings
10. Polkadot Cadaver – Phantom Limb
We’ll drink to the dead as we gulp down the blood
We’ll chase it with whiskey and swallow the floods
I think I probably won’t manage to tag a full ten people because that’s a lot of people, but definitely @perfidiousalbion @his-name-was-writ-in-water @czarinamischa and anyone else who wants to do this (tag me if you do!)

The X-Files theme is so serene and calm in major key.
It could be a video game soundtrack
It sounds like the starting village music.
