The alt-right have the same thought processes as anti gunners.

Whenever there’s a tragedy, they use the graves of the victims as a soapbox to scapegoat an entire group of people instead of focusing on the perpetrators. Both rely primarily on doctored statistics and appeals to emotion. The ‘think of the women/children’ argument is pretty common, as are personal attacks meant to belittle their opponents when their arguments fall apart.

Only difference is the target. Gun owners, or Muslims/immigrants.

Don’t you dare notice demographic trends with terror attacks

Except anti-gunners scapegoat an inanimate object with no free will of its own, while thge “alt-right” vocally criticize a group of people who follow an ideology that has contributed to thousands of deaths and if they aren’t committing the acts, they are covering for those who do you immense fucking clod

I wasn’t aware gun owners were inanimate objects.

This nonsensical belief that Islam is a singular, undivided ideology that’s rampaging across “mvh white evropa” is so absolutely fucking willfully uninformed. Apparently Wahhabi extremists are the only Muslims in the world and the, you know, hundreds of millions of non-Wahhabi, non-Sunnis who live out their lives without incident don’t actually exist and it’s all a conspiracy to put an end to white-women-in-wheatfields culture as we know it.

We both know it’s horseshit to claim that all of the hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees living in Europe and North America are somehow covering for the minuscule minority of violent Wahhabi extremists that they’re fleeing from in the first place.

Maybe you should find a better way to deal with the outcome of the second crusade than scapegoating an entire religion.

Anti-gunners bitch about gun owners but their targets are guns (rights, etc)

And @bill-11b has already posted those stats/what-ever of just how many muslims support sharia law and what not.

So the “alt-right” groups has evidence to support’s stance, would you like to share any evidence to challenge that support your stance? Or prove the “alt-right” incorrect?

I’ve gone into depth about the Pew study on the beliefs of Muslims in majority Islamic countries, and how the study shows that most Muslims don’t hold extremist views, but because none of you fucking listen, I guess I’ll have to do it again, and tag it this time so I can bring it up every time y’all misinterpret the study to push your agenda.

What we’re going to look at is averages. We’re going to average out the percentages of Muslims in the regions polled to come up with a mean average of Muslims who believe in say, Sharia as the law of the land. In the Pew study, it also mentions that some of the things cited are sub-percentages. I’ll cite page numbers so you can easily find the statistics, and cite sub-percentages as well.

For Muslims who believe Sharia should be the law of the land, the percentages average out at 54.8% (Page 16). This is a pretty slim majority, with the highest percentage being South Asia (84%) and the lowest being Central Asia (12%). Unsurprisingly, Southeastern European Muslims are second lowest at 18%. It should also be noted that Sharia is not interpreted in a single manner, and that every sect of Islam interprets it in their own way. Very few sects, most famously the Deobandi and Wahhabi, interpret every verse of the Qur’an, Sunnah, and Hadiths literally in their harshest context. Many Islamic majority countries use Sharia for family law and inheritance alone, such as Indonesia, with the exception of Aceh province.

A sub-percentage of the above believe that Sharia should apply to Muslims only (Page 22). Of Muslims polled, an average of 57.8% believe that Sharia should not apply to non-Muslims. So, of the 54.8% of Muslims who believe that Sharia should be the law of the land, only 42.2% of that initial 54.8% believe it should be universally applied. So, you know, the stunning, overwhelming majority of 23.1% of all Muslims polled. So, depending on the remaining questions (Read the fine print within the study) the remaining statistics regarding punishments in Sharia are either supported by less than 23.1% or 54.8% of those polled.

This poll also doesn’t count Muslims living in minority Muslim countries such as the United States, most of the European Union, China, and India.

I’d suggest looking through the study for yourself in full. Many people on here have absolutely no problem cherrypicking from it to support an Islamophobic agenda. Averaging out the percentages and dealing with sub-percentages creates a much more accurate picture of the beliefs of Muslims in majority Islamic countries.
