Meteorologist forced to cover up on air

Meteorologist Liberté Chan was in the middle of her forecast when she was given a cardigan to cover up. Viewers were apparently writing in, appalled by her outfit. In a second video posted to her Facebook page, Chan and a coworker read some of the “angry emails” and responded.

And there it is. The exact problem with this whole thing in six words. Dress codes follow women from school to professional life — and in every situation, they are sending a clear and damaging message about priorities.

Male announcers mock young women for taking selfies during a baseball game

The clip starts with Arizona Diamondback announcers  Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly asking fans to tweet their strongest photo, but quickly devolves into the two men making fun of the girls for doing exactly what they asked. Besides this hypocrisy, this is pretty troubling considering the sexism and stereotypes surrounding female sports fans.

What else u supposed to do baseball boring as shit

ALL OF THIS.

One of my female friends on FB was making so much fun of these girls… she hates selfies, thinks dressing in certain clothes is a privilege instead of a right, and she has no idea how much internalized misogyny she suffers.
