I’m trying to see the glut of virtue signalling and out of control patriotism surrounding 9/11 as a blessing because it helps me figure out whose posts I need to choose to see less of on Facebook.

But mostly I just stick to my standing policy of not touching the site on 11 September, Veterans Day, and 4 July.
