Should tea ever be consumed with the bag still in the cup?

I’ve known some people who do that. I don’t see why you’d want to – it would overpower all the other flavours and render the whole practice of making tea rather futile.

not to mention, how do you keep from getting tea bagged in the face every time you tilt the cup
