I always liked that little piece of waterfront by Canary Wharf. Nice place to sit and enjoy some peace. Or it was when last I went. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

There was also a good tapas bar near the BBC Radio studio, very reasonably priced.

Everything else I tend to do in London is probably too pleb af for you.
