Rose Siggins, who played Legless Suzi in America Horror Story: Freak Show, passed away this morning. She went in for a kidney stone surgery on Monday and never made it out of the hospital. She was 43.
Siggins was born with a rare genetic disorder called sacral agenesis. As a result, she has suffered from kidney and pancreas issues her whole life. A GoFundMe has been set up for the two children she leaves behind.
She was the first woman with that disorder to ever carry a pregnancy to term and deliver a baby! And she did it twice! And when she was younger her school wouldn’t let her attend class unless she has prosthetic legs on but she didn’t feel like herself when she wore them so she refused to wear them and showed up to school on a skateboard!! She’s an incredible woman who lived an incredible life and she leaves behind an incredible legacy. Go girl!
